With the introduction of European legislation on food safety, a little over 6 years ago, Labellord introduced products for professional kitchens, in order to indicate the storage life of food. From a Labellord coding machine, the size of a printer, a cook can retrieve labels, which show the product's best-before date. Big caterers (with often more than 2000 kitchens, with high quality demands) were the first buyers of the first coding machines. With a modest basic investment, food safety is safeguarded. By now, 100.000 kitchens make use of the various, also newly patented Labellord food safety products.
